Hugo Nelson Guevara

Hugo Nelson Guevara is a key member of our Immigrant Worker Center community in East Boston. Born in San Miguel, El Salvador, in 1965 and raised by retired teachers, he’s thankful for every moment life has granted him. When he’s not hard at work in construction with Local 151, you’ll Hugo indulging in his favorite sports like soccer and swimming or basking in the beauty of sunrise and sunset during beach outings. Hugo is also a proud graduate of the National COSH 2024 We Rise Workers’ Leadership Academy, where he collaborated with other community leaders and further honed his organizing skills.
