What do you get when you give eight talented teens six weeks, a video camera and compelling stories of their peers and workplace incidents? A hip, new video tentatively titled, Pure Injustice: Behind the Doors of Working Teens. Featuring interviews with teen workers and parents of young employees whose lives were tragically cut short while they were at work, the film aims to educate and inspire young people to stand up for safety, health and their rights in the workplace. Teens Lead @ Work peer leaders will be screening their movie on October 2nd, 2008 from 5-7pm at the Viet-Aid building in Dorchester. There will be food and drinks too, so come check it out!
